Yes — all recipes use UK measurements, including grams and millilitres, along with oven temperatures suitable for UK ovens. All measurements can easily be converted. See the Notes section in Sweet for more guidance.

No — the book has been printed on high quality paper, designed to prevent bleed-through to the recipe side when using a wide range of colouring materials. The following have been thoroughly tested on Sweet's premium paper: felt tip pens, marker pens, acrylic pens, glitter pens, black fine tip line markers, watercolours, wax pencils, watercolour pencils, spray paints and many more.

We've created a range of colour-coordinated accessories to go alongside Sweet – from baking tools and tote bags to cupcake cases, colouring pens and cute little extras.

We recommend spot cleaning your tote to look its best or gentle hand washing taking care to avoid the printed design.

Sweet has been thoroughly designed and tested to support different ways of learning and creativity. With clear step-by-step instructions, visual guidance and optional video tutorials, this can be especially helpful for those who prefer a visual or structured approach. Creating something inclusive and accessible was especially important to me and the aim was for everyone to enjoy the experience in their own way.
