Meet the author
Hi, I’m Tash – founder of Artful Delights and creator of Sweet where baking meets creativity.
Artful Delights was born from a love of baking, creativity and family.
Sweet actually began as a Christmas present for my daughter. She asked for a colouring book and I remember thinking…."I could make this for you." So, I picked up a sketchpad and pencils and started drawing playful, hand-drawn desserts.
What started as a simple gift quickly became something so much bigger.
I paired each illustration with real, easy-to-follow recipes, creating something interactive, creative and completely unique. Soon, the idea had grown beyond the pages of the book, inspiring a collection of beautiful baking accessories, colouring essentials and carefully curated bundles designed to bring the Artful Delights experience to life.
It became the perfect opportunity to combine my two lifelong passions – baking and drawing.
That’s when Sweet became more than just a colouring book.
Some of my most special memories are of being in the kitchen with my dad, a classically trained chef, someone I have always looked up to, learning skills that I still use today without even thinking.
Those early moments inspired me to create something that could pass that feeling on, giving others the confidence to step into the kitchen and create memories of their own.
Over the years I’ve continued to develop my skills through hands-on experience, learning from talented bakers, chefs and a master chocolatier, creating custom cakes for friends and family to refining each recipe that you now see in Sweet.
Everything in this book has been tested, developed and made to feel approachable and achievable at home, helping build confidence step by step.
This is for anyone who wants to step into the kitchen, try something new and feel proud of what they create.
Its not about perfection, it’s about the process, building confidence and having fun along the way.
